Oktoberfest at WEST is already in full-swing with a full-house on each Friday so far this month, so if you fancy swinging your steins to some authentic live German oompah music this year, then you better head WEST fast before it’s too late!
German brewery owner Petra Wetzel said, “This year’s Oktoberfest at WEST has an exciting and eclectic line-up of music. All events are free and we’ve already had lots of reservations for some of the nights, so if you’re thinking of bringing a big group, please call and reserve a table to avoid disappointment.
“The WEST Oompah Band is playing live every Friday in October from 8pm and our Head Chef and his team will be serving up some old Bavarian favourites and some new Oktoberfest creations – including this year’s WEST Oktoberfest bier. Don’t miss it!”
WEST is the first UK brewery to produce all of its beers in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot, known as the German Purity Law. This means that it uses only the four core ingredients of water, malt, hops and yeast in brewing all its beers, adding no artificial additives, colouring or preservatives.
Based in the iconic Templeton Building at Glasgow Green, WEST produces a full range of beers, from cool, crisp lagers, through to clean-tasting wheat beers and a full range of unique and seasonal styles.

WEST Brewery, Bar & Restaurant is open seven days a week, 11am till 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am to midnight Friday and Saturday.
